In short

Web design is the practice of building a brand's website across interface, content structure and technical foundation. Tugi handles design and development together for corporate sites, portfolios and campaign pages. Every project ships mobile-first, fast-loading and with search fundamentals in place: heading structure, structured data and a submitted sitemap.

Most small and mid-size sites fail in two places: load speed and search fundamentals. However good the design is, a site that takes five seconds on mobile loses the visitor — and a site with no heading structure or structured data never gets found in the first place.

So I do not split the job into design and development. Heading hierarchy, internal linking, canonicals and structured data are planned as the page structure is built, and images are prepared at the right format and size. By handover the site is connected to Search Console with its sitemap submitted.

The visual side of a portfolio and an e-commerce storefront are not the same problem. On media-heavy sites the real challenge is serving video and photography without destroying speed — which is where the production background pays off.

How it works

  1. 1. Scope and content map

Which pages exist, what search each one answers, and the conversion goal for each.

  2. 2. Interface design

Layouts, typography and components. Designed mobile-first.

  3. 3. Development

The site is built; heading structure, internal links and structured data land here.

  4. 4. Performance and SEO check

Image weights, load order, canonicals, sitemap and robots are verified.

  5. 5. Launch and handover

Domain and hosting connected, Search Console and analytics installed, usage walked through.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a website take?

A single-page campaign site takes 1–2 weeks; a multi-page corporate site 3–6 weeks. The thing that stretches timelines is rarely development — it is waiting on copy and images.

Do you produce the content and imagery?

Copy and images can come from you. If they do not, I can produce the video and photography myself, which folds into a single budget alongside the production service.

Can I update the site myself after handover?

Yes. The underlying stack is chosen around your needs and set up so you can edit content, with a short walkthrough at handover.

Can you improve SEO and speed on my existing site?

Yes. A technical SEO audit, speed optimisation and structured data setup can be done on your current site as a standalone job.
