In short
I work as cinematographer and colourist on music video projects. The visual language is built from the tone of the track: camera movement, framing and colour identity are decided alongside the energy of the piece. Diplomat's "Kafam İyi" and Ozbi's "Bahar Yanmadan Gel" are among these works.
In a music video the image has one job: to visualise how the song feels. Technical decisions therefore come after the music — tempo drives camera movement, and the character of the lyric drives the palette.
Colour is where the creative latitude is widest on this kind of work. Unlike commercial projects, the goal is not naturalism but a distinct identity; contrast curve, colour separation and texture are shaped to that end.
